Calder Future has been working with other partner organisations to set up activities which enable people to improve the river environment within Calderdale. The river stewardship scheme is funded by DEFRA’s Pathfinder money, which is managed by Calderdale Council. We have been working with the Environment Agency and others to involve local people and businesses in tasks which remove litter, debris and vegetation from the waterways.
